Thanks
for your interest in Dynamic Designs. Garment pricing is
done by a number of factors. The combination of all
these will determine the cost of you shirt. Listed below
are some of the basics to consider before you contact us.
1. Artwork - First of all, you must decide if you
want single color design or a multi-color design for
your shirt. If the customer supplies clean, camera-ready
artwork, the art charges will be less than artwork that
must be created or reproduced by our art department. Our
artwork staff can handle any artwork that you may need,
but there will be additional charges.
2. Garment - After the artwork is set, you must
decide what you need the design to go on. We are capable
of printing most any garment, but there are limitations
on certain garments that may need to be discussed prior
to printing. There are many choices of t-shirt,
sweatshirts, hats, jackets, etc. to choose from. We
prefer to use what we consider to be the best products
for their printability and durability. The customer must
decide and specify which of these factors are important
to achieve the product they desire.
3. Quantity - The amount of shirts to be printed,
may be the most important factor in determining the cost
of a printed shirt. Screen printing requires extensive
preparation and set-up. However, once the process is set
up, the actual printing of the shirt goes relatively
quickly depending on the design and location of the
print. One thing to remember, more shirts may equal less
money. Single items or small amounts of shirts may be
printed, but printing many shirts with the same design
is much more cost effective. In some cases, printing a
small amount of shirts may be done, but the cost per
shirt may be substantial when compared to the same
design being printed on dozens of shirts.
4. Location - This factor is not as critical, but
must be decided upon before the set-up starts. All
pricing is based on a single print location on the
garment. Additional charges may be applied for
additional print locations.
5. Garment Color - This factor is also critical,
and must be taken into account before the printing
starts. Garment color can also affect how any given
design will appear on the shirt. It also determines what
color of ink will look good on the shirt. Colored and
dark garments are always more costly per piece than a
white garment. That is the nature of the business and
must be considered.
6. Shirt Sizes - The customer must also decide on
the size of the shirts that will be needed. Youth, adult
and oversized shirts all are different in price. There
will always be additional costs for oversized shirts.
Youth shirts may not always be cheaper because they are
smaller like a person might think. There may also be
additional screen and artwork charges in order to be
able to print the smaller shirts.
